Lydia Claire has a passion to hand make jewellery, specialising in remodelling and reusing, to create timeless jewellery.
Lydia Claire’s design and manufacturing philosophy has grown and evolved during her 20+ years of industry experience. Working within many different facets of the industry, including completing a manufacturing apprenticeship, Gemmological diploma, workshop management and as a specialist diamond grader. All have contributed to her evolution into the jeweller she is today.
Jewellery has always been a very important part of my life, the flexibility you can achieve in your personal style by simply changing your jewellery and accessories has been consequential to the way I dress.
I’m inspired by history, by everything vintage and by the nature that surrounds me. I believe that jewellery should have a story.
I'm the kind of artist who believes that little is not worth being fixed, many things that aren’t technically ‘valuable’ can be very sentimental and important to someone.
